A sizable portion of my every working day as a designer is spent creating content for the web within Adobe Photoshop CS4. It's because of this intimate relationship that I often find myself not only learning increasingly sophisticated techniques and features, but also coming up against the software's discrepancies, occasional bug and limitations. Today we learned the very sad news that one of our potential clients, Rick Hayes passed away after his battle with cancer. Rick was creating a new bicycle brand called Viaggio Velo. We were extremely excited about the prospect of working with him on his new venture to create him a boutique website for the sale of his beautiful new custom bike range. We send our condolences to all of his family and friends. He was in the process of creating something really great and we were extremely encouraged by his passion for what he was doing. We hope that Viaggio Velo still has a future after all of the hard work that he put into it.

Every website out there today has a conversion goal, yours may be trying to encourage your users to sign up to your newsletter or buy your product or even just read your blog posts. As you can imagine, many companies spend a vast amount of time coming up with ways to improve their conversions through tweaking their website. In the industry this is termed Conversion Rate Optimazation (CRO). Using split testing on your website as a tool for CRO can help you to easily work out what helps to increase your conversions.
